Samsung Printing a network configuration report



You can Samsung print Network Setup Report from the device's control panel that will reveal the present maker's Samsung network settings. This will help you to establish a network.

The device has the display screen: Press the (Menu) button on the control board and select Network > Network Conf.

Using this Network Configuration Report, you can find your maker's MAC address and IP address.

For example:
  • MAC Address: 00:15:99:41: A2:78.
  • IP Address: 169.254.192.192.

Initially, you need to establish an IP address for network printing and managements. Most of the times a new IP address will be instantly appointed by a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Procedure) server located on the network.

Before using the Samsung SetIP program, disable the computer firewall from System Preferences > Security > Firewall.

Before using the Samsung SetIP program, disable the computer firewall from System Preferences or Administrator.

Download the Samsung SetIP Software page and extract it.

Double-click the SetIPApplet.html file in cdroot/Linux/noarch/ at_opt/ share/utils folder.

Click to open the TCP/IP setup window.

Go into the machine's brand-new information into the configuration window. In a corporate intranet, you might need to have this information designated by a network manager before proceeding.
The machine will automatically print the Samsung Network Setup Report.
